I don’t understand the infatuation with shoes. I know people who would either a) sell their firstborn, or b) sport a zipper-popping erection for their particular brand of tenny. Why lay benjamins on something you’re going to stuff your smelly feet in, stomp on, and shove under a desk all day?

I have five pairs of shoes total, including my dress shoes. Three pairs are over five years old, one has a solid bottlecap sized hole in it, and one is a hand-me-down. I’m as metrosexual as the typical young professional, but that has never extended to the shoes.

Of course, this is coming from a guy whose been known to buy light-up dorm crap from Spencer’s Gifts and collect energy drink cans.
